Hi Jasper That looks like a cool idea for carrying your satchel. Does it hurt your neck if you have a lot of heavy stuff in it? What do you carry in your satchel? We used satchels when I first started school. We didn't carry many books, it was just your lunch in a brown paper bag and a spare hanky. All our books, there were not that many, stayed at school along with a sharp pencil. They seem to have gone a little out of favour with the advent of backpacks. Satchels are still trendy for office workers who are only carrying a laptop and phone around. It would be interesting to see what changes in backpack design made them more appealing as a way of carrying gear to school. Perhaps you could look into this. I know the backpacks we use for tramping now are quite different to older packs that hunters used in the 1950's.
Hi Jasper
ReplyDeleteWow, that looks like a good trick, I am going to try it when I have my satchel out next. Did it take you long to work this trick out Jasper?

That is a great idea Jasper. What sort of things would you put in there? Is it easy to get off?
ReplyDeleteGreat thinking Jasper, I just might to try that. Do you like inventing things?
